Organizational Milestones

HyRadix® is the global leader in providing on-site hydrogen generation systems and supply solutions. Having initiated the development of hydrogen generation technology in 1998 as a way to meet the growing demand for distributed hydrogen production, UOP LLC spun off the program to form HyRadix Inc. in 2002.

2007  

Eden Energy Ltd. purchases HyRadix including all intellectual property, strategic patents, technology, products, customer base and marketing systems.  Entire HyRadix staff remains while Robert Gray, President, is promoted to Chief Executive Officer of Eden Innovations Ltd. and David Cepla is promoted to the role of President.

 

2006  

HyRadix begins commissioning of on-site hydrogen generation units in the metals heat treating and oils hydrogenation industries

Partnership formed with IFP, a Paris-based leader in process development, with initial focus on production of hydrogen from liquid feed stocks such as ethanol

 

2005  

HyRadix logs initial commercial sales for the Aptus™ Industrial Hydrogen Generator

Koch Genesis, a subsidiary of privately-held Koch Industries, and SAM Equity Partners, Ltd. invest in the company

 

2004  

Adéo™ H2 Fuel Generator begins operation at California-based SunLine Transit Agency for use in fueling the company's HCNG buses

 

2003  

CDP Capital and Süd-Chemie Inc. announce acquisition of UOP's ownership position in HyRadix

 

2002  

HyRadix was formed with the goal of developing and commercializing hydrogen generation systems

Field-testing of stand-alone fuel processors and integration with fuel cells

 

1999  

First pilot plant began operation at UOP and was successful in demonstrating the potential of the technology

 

1998  

UOP begins investigating ways to meet growing demand for fuel supply focusing on on-site hydrogen generation
